I grew up in Edgerton, WI, graduating from Edgerton High School in 1999. From there, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Ripon College. After working for a year in Sales, I decided to go to Mortuary School. I attended MATC-West Allis for Mortuary Science and graduated with honors from the program in 2007. I have been fully licensed since December 2007. I live in Edgerton with my wife, Tara Albrecht, and our daughter, Stella, and our son, Cadell. I love to golf and am a member of Towne Country Club in Edgerton. I also am a board member of the Milton Community Fund.

I grew up in Milton, WI, graduating from Milton High School in 1973. I attended Milton College from 1974 to 1976. I then transferred to Indiana College of Mortuary Science and attended from 1976 to 1977 when I became a licensed funeral director. I moved back to Milton and worked with my father, Robert "Bud" Albrecht. In 1987, we built the funeral home in Edgerton and I moved my family there and have been working in the funeral business for over 37 years. I am a member of Central Lutheran Church in Edgerton, and have sat on the board for a number of years. I love to golf and have been a member of the Towne Country Club for over 25 years. I have two children, Sara Herrman, of McFarland, and Adam Albrecht, of Milton, who works with me at the funeral homes. I am a proud grandfather to 5 grandchidlren: Blake, Isaac, Eli Herrman, and Stella and Cadell Albrecht.

I was born in Stoughton, WI and raised in the Milton/Edgerton area. I graduated from the School District of Milton in 1993. I attended UW-Rock County College, Blackhawk Technical College and Milwaukee Area Technical College, having a range of medical positions leading to a senior clinic lab technician for Fort HealthCare Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I also served as an AEMT with the Milton and Milton Township Fire Department for 25 years, retiring December 31, 2019.
In 2013, I began to work with Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services part-time. In January of 2015 I left the medical practice in Fort Atkinson/Whitewater entirely and started practicing as an apprentice funeral director for the Albrecht family. I graduated from MATC-West Allis in May 2020 with an Associates Degree in Funeral Science, and I have passed all national board examinations and the State of Wisconsin Licensing and Credentialing Boards.
I live in Milton with my husband, Otis, our son Thomas and our playful rescue cat Anubis.
I enjoy knitting, spinning wool, swimming whenever possilble, playing handbells and being an active member in the Milton United Methodist Church Bell Choir.
I know that I was always meant to help people and this keeps me in the communities that my ancestors and I have grown up in. I am fortunate to be able to work with the people I have grown to know and love and I am grateful for the people and families that I am privileged to work with in Milton and Edgerton.
